After a very hard youth (she ran away from home at the age of 12), Hunter managed to become one of the best and most popular entertainers of the 20's. Her discography spans the whole 20's decade and the 30's. (except a few comeback records as recent as the 80's). This wonderful recording was made for Gramophone in 1935. She was accompanied by Jack Jackson & His Orchestra.
